- Clinton (not likely, but I’m sticking with my original statement).
- Kathleen Sebelius (Kansas Governor and a great leader).
I’ll leave it at that. There are a couple others on Obamas short list, Joe Biden for one… Maybe he’ll announce soon!

• MOBLOGIC is news and politics with attitude. Host Lindsay Campbell puts the news cycle in perspective by talking to ordinary people on the street about how the issues affect their everyday lives. • MOBLOGIC is a flagship for the political blogosphere. Our show interacts directly with bloggers and commenters, taking on issues that are hot on the blogs and building on popular blog posts by taking the authors’ ideas to the streets. • MOBLOGIC is the result of the web video revolution. A show created for a native web audience. We combine the familiarity of the television show format with the sensibility of viral video, and create an engaged community around the video. • For the complete MOBLOGIC experience, visit us daily on our site: http://www.moblogic.tv (launching March 7th). There you can watch the daily videos, see related shows, share or comment on the show. • You can also subscribe to MOBLOGIC on iTunes, visit our YouTube channel http://youtube.com/moblogictv, become a fan of the show on Facebook, or watch it on MySpace. Through the CBS Audience network, we’re distributing the show to a host of partner sites, from AOL to Bebo. While my perdication in November is true for the moment, Obama and Clinton will probably never run on the same ticket. And in the past three months, I’ve come to like Obama more the Clinton. With Super (let down) Tuesday behind us, and no clear front runner for the dems, it looks like this will be an all out blood bath till the finish line. With the democratic convention not until late August, I hope that things will resolve themselves way before that date. With John McCain knocking on the door for the GOP nomination, the dems have got to get things together and start to wage a campaign against him. I heard of a news program a couple weeks back that the democrats have a way of ripping defeat from the hands of victory. Which we certainly don’t want to be the case this year. McCain is way too much like Bush for us to put him the White House. We’ll see what comes to be in the coming weeks and the coming primaries. I’ll be posting as needed - so stay tunes, but not too close… could be a week or two :-) For now. S

Welcome to NovemberPosted by: Sean in My Thoughts, News Related, Politics, tags: , 2008, clinton, colbert report, decision 2008, decomcrats, elections, now new nork, obama, republicans, sean r smith, sean smith, srs, the daily show, youtubeWell, it is officially November. That can only me one… ok a couple of things. My birthday, Thanksgiving, and my favorite… One year until the Presidential Elections! WAAHOO. For the past Lord knows how many months the Democrats and Republicans have been squaring off in debates ranging from a YouTube debate to the usual “town hall” event. Caring about the debates, and the candidates up until now would have been a waste of my time. I’ve told myself since all the candidates started coming out of the wood work, that I would not start caring until one year before the election. And with October past, and November in the present, I’m ready to get my game face on and start talking politics. Despite my completely apathetic attitude toward “Decision 2008″ back around May I predicited a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton Democratic ticket. Why? Clinton has the connections and backbone to say what she means while Obama is a pretty face people can get behind! Aside from the practically useless information provided by the news stations, the Daily Show and Colbert Report have been my only real sources for keeping up with “campaigns”. I promise to diversify my readings, listenings and viewings - I know many of the candidates just by name and face, but know nothing about what they are running for. So, stay tune, I will also promise you some good non-partisan comments and posting in the coming year. Happy reading. For now, We all marked today as the sixth year since Sept. 11. We all remember the day well, and will continue to for many years to come. While many of these thoughts, and memories, and images will remain, it’s the day and the events of today, Sept. 11, 2007 that will start to return to normal. (more…) |
