I have internet! Praise the Lord! Finally! is all I have to say.

The past week has been a pretty good one. Last weekend I took it upon myself to paint my entire apartment by myself. Needless to say, I will never be doing that again. In one night, I broke two vases, a lamp, my vacuum and got blood on my carpet. Next time I say I want to paint, TELL ME NO! Anyways, it looks pretty good. I like it a lot although I am not sure it was worth all the blood, sweat and tears.

I had two interviews this week. One with Corcoran Real Estate Group as a Public Relations Assistant and the other with Institutional Investor News as a Marketing Assistant. I think both interviews went well, although I almost missed the first one by going to the second one first! I had to run back on the 4,5,6 train and get up to 59th. I made it just in time!

I am almost done working for the National Alliance for Musical Theater. My last day will be next week. Probably Thursday. I am not certain if I am happy or sad about this news since I don’t really like the person I work for, but it is a paycheck. She likes me, though, so I have a great reference now!

This weekend should be pretty good. Today Meggi and I went to lunch at Angelo’s (our pizza place we found last January). We were both starving and ate way too much food, but it was great to catch up. Although we live 12 blocks away, we don’t get to see eachother that often. Tomorrow I am planning a Costco run (again) with Meggi and Sean. Sean and I tried last weekend but with no success because it was closed for Labor day (brilliant on our part, huh?). The only tricky part with this adventure will be trying to get all the things we buy back to our apartments.

Tomorrow is also LAUNDRY day! My pile is growing so big and it is going to take over my apartment soon like Godzilla. Sunday is going to be a great day because I finally get to see a show! Lisa got us cheap tickets that are in the twelfth row! We are going to see the Drowsy Chaperone. Just for a little background, the show started at the National Alliance of Musical Theater Fall Festival several years ago (yes, this is where I am working). The original Janet Vandekamp (female lead), was played by Sutton Foster, who also originated the role of Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Hopefully this will be the first of many shows to come in NY.

Well, that’s enough from me. More to come!
